hi, i’m claire!
i grew up in bauline, a small town just outside st. john's, newfoundland, where the atlantic sets the mood and the weather changes its mind by the hour. my mom gave me my first real camera as a grad gift, and i more or less never put it down — turns out newfoundland is a pretty good place to learn how to chase light.
a job carried me out to the sea to sky two years ago, and i stayed for the views. i shoot on a film-style edit because there's something about that vintage feel that makes an image more personal, more like a memory you can actually hold onto.

how i work
calm on set
unhurried and easy to be around. the best frames happen when no one feels watched.
a designer’s eye
a background in architecture and marketing means i see how a space is built, and how to make it land.
sense of place
landscape, weather, and season are part of the story, never just a backdrop.
